A. Shanti Kumari, is an Indian IAS officer. She was born in 1965 in Andhra Pradesh

Officers starting in 1989, Ms. Shanti Kumari will be the first woman to lead the new State. Ms. Shanti Kumari has a Master’s in marine biology. She got her MBA in the US and then worked for the UN for two years. During her 30 years of service, she has worked to reduce poverty, improve education and health, teach people new skills, and protect forests.

She worked in the office of the Chief Minister as the chief secretary and in the TS-iPASS as a special secretary. Before she becomes the Chief Secretary, she is the special chief secretary in the Forest department.

Shanthi Kumari will be Telangana’s first female Chief Secretary.

Shanthi Kumari has a master’s degree in marine biology, and she also got her MBA in the United States. She worked in different jobs in what used to be Andhra Pradesh and later became Telangana. She used to be the Special Chief Secretary for the department of Environment and Forests.

Sri Jayesh Ranjan, is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1992 batch and currently working in the state of Telangana as Secretary, Telangana ITE & C Department. He holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Delhi University, a degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Masters in Public Management from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He has also done short courses in the University of Birmingham (on Environmental Policy Analysis), London School of Economics (on Globalization and Leadership), and Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (in Public Policy). He is the All-India topper of his IAS batch of 1992. He was awarded World Bank’s Social Capital Visiting Scholarship in 2002 and the British Government’s Gurukul Chevening Scholarship in 2005. He has done international consultancy assignments for the World Bank and UN-ESCAP, international NGOs working for Youth Issues like YES, Inc of the USA and NMC from Italy.

Sri R Shailesh Reddy, Post Graduate in Journalism and Mass Communications from Osmania University. In a career span of 20 years, worked in Newstime English Daily, Eenadu Television at New Delhi, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and Zee News Limited. Started the career as Reporter in Newstime and gradually progressed to the post of Business Head at Zee News Limited. As Business Head at Zee News Limited was instrumental in the expansion of operations of Zee Group in Telangana.
